HYDRAGUARD will center the hydrant in the well but only the bottom plate stops the 225mm storm water well pipe.
Right way up- shows the 6mm capillary plugs level with the surface.
The capillary plug can be removed on one side to push a 6mm tracer cable through if required. An exact fit is required to maintain a seal.
Water is a good enough lubricant between the rubber and the pipe to make sliding easier.
Line up the bolts with the bolt holes in the MULTIGUARD as rotation is harder once inside the pipe.
Simply push down evenly keeping the MULTIGUARD flat.
Once pushed down almost in place- use a tool like a screw driver to push down around the outside edge until it stops moving.
Mostly if the hydrant and pipe are well centered, the MULTIGUARD will fit straight on. However if they are poorly aligned the PVC pipe may need moving to help center everything.
